We aim to achieve the globally recognized social goals of SDGs and support the achievement of our management philosophy and the SDGs activities of companies nationwide.

What is SDGs?

SDGs stands for Sustainable Development Goals. These are a set of 17 global goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.
The goals address various aspects of sustainable development, including ending poverty and hunger, promoting good health and well-being, ensuring quality education for all, achieving gender equality, ensuring access to clean water and sanitation, and combating climate change and its impacts. The SDGs provide a framework for governments, businesses, and civil society to work together towards a more sustainable and equitable future.

Activities of BiEST

Support for the Next Generation

  • Active recruitment of mothers raising children
  • Introduction of childcare leave and maternity leave
We actively recruit mothers raising children and support them in balancing work and childcare. We provide an environment that can accommodate sudden situations such as a child’s illness, in addition to childcare leave. Furthermore, we guarantee 100% support for returning to work after childcare leave.

In-house Language Training

To cultivate global talent, we regularly hold study sessions for those interested in languages such as English and Chinese.

Realization of Workstyle Reform

  • Encouragement of regular working hours departure
  • Re-employment system after retirement age
  • Elimination of long working hours
We provide an environment where diverse talents can choose flexible working styles, and we ensure that employees are not burdened with excessive workloads.

Diversity

  • Development of female managers
  • Hiring foreign nationals
We have established a personnel system where equal opportunities for education, placement, and job assignments are provided regardless of age, educational background, gender, nationality, etc. Various career paths are promoted, and promotions are considered based on individual capabilities.

Donation

We will allocate a portion of the proceeds to support funds for impoverished regions. Starting from February 2020, a portion of the sales revenue from the BiEST ap series will be earmarked as support funds for impoverished regions.

Accepting Trainees

By establishing a period of workplace training for trainees attempting a career change from different industries before they actually secure employment, it is possible to bridge the gap between their expectations and reality. Our company plays a role as an organization that helps individuals reassess before embarking on a new chapter in their lives.
